Terms & Conditions
A First Turn Over Production for We Make Heads Turn
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Participant”) and We Make Heads Turn (“WMHT”, “we”, “our”, “us”) when you book a slot in The Big 50 Challenge. By registering, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Project
The Big 50 Challenge is a community-driven filming project offering creatives a 60-minute slot (50 minutes of filming plus a 10-minute interview).
Content will be filmed outdoors in pre-selected or agreed West Midlands locations.
The project is designed to showcase raw talent and provide accessible opportunities for creatives.
2. Bookings & Payment
Each slot costs £50.
Payment is due only after your Zoom call has taken place and you confirm you wish to continue forward.
All confirmed bookings are non-refundable unless WMHT cancels the session.
3. Your Responsibilities
Arrive on time and ready to perform. Late arrival may reduce your filming time or result in forfeiture of your slot.
You are responsible for your own outfits, props, and any supporting performers.
Your content must be respectful and must not negatively impact, defame, or discriminate against others.
WMHT reserves the right to refuse to film material that breaches these principles.
4. Filming & Delivery
Sessions are filmed in a guerrilla-style format. Flexibility is required — locations may change on the day due to crowds, access, or other conditions.
Videos are delivered in batches. Delivery times may vary, and patience is required as part of the process.
Your final video will be edited and colour-graded by WMHT.
Additional edit requests or revisions will incur a fee of £40 per hour.
5. Ownership & Usage
Once delivered, you own 100% rights to your video and can use it for personal or promotional purposes.
WMHT may reference your participation in The Big 50 Challenge for promotional purposes (e.g. “We collaborated with [Artist Name] on The Big 50”).
Footage sharing is optional and based on your consent (see Section 9). If you select Yes, WMHT may share your footage on its platforms (website, social media, marketing). If you select No, WMHT will not publish your footage but may retain it internally for records.
WMHT may, at its discretion, decide not to publish certain content on its platforms.
6. Cancellations & Transfers
All confirmed payments are non-refundable
If WMHT cancels your slot, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund.
Bookings are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another person
7. Liability
WMHT is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to participants’ property or persons during the session.
Participation is at your own risk.
8. Communication
WMHT will seek to book a Zoom call with you within 48 hours of receiving your completed form.
During this call, your project and requirements will be discussed.
After the call, you may decide whether to continue forward. If you continue, payment will then be required to secure your slot.
9. Use of Name, Credit, and Collaboration Acknowledgement
Acknowledgement of Collaboration
By participating in The Big 50 / WMHT project, you agree that WMHT, First Turn Overs, and Stefan Davis may reference the fact of our collaboration in portfolios, social media, press, and promotional content.
This may be stated as: “We collaborated with [Artist Name] on The Big 50.”
Footage Sharing
If you select Yes for footage sharing, WMHT may edit and publish footage from your session across its platforms.
If you select No, your footage will remain private and will not be published. WMHT retains the right to archive the material internally for record-keeping and development purposes.
Producer Credit
WMHT and/or Stefan Davis reserve the right to include a production credit on all project materials, such as:
“Produced by Stefan Davis / WMHT / First Turn Overs.”
Reciprocal Credit
If you choose to share or repost materials arising from your session (whether edited by WMHT or yourself), you agree to provide reasonable credit to WMHT and/or Stefan Davis.
No Endorsement Implied
Reference to collaboration does not imply endorsement of either party’s future projects, views, or activities outside the context of The Big 50.
10. General
These Terms are effective as of 2nd September 2025.
WMHT reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
Continued participation in The Big 50 Challenge constitutes acceptance of the latest version of these Terms.
