The Spirits of Unrealised Creativity

Written and performed by Stefan Davis
What happens to the ideas we never act on?
The stories we never write, the songs we never sing, the art we never dare to create?
For years, I carried this question with me. And out of it came The Spirits of Unrealised Creativity – Ghosts and Dreams.
It is a monologue, but more than that, it’s a meditation on the ghosts of our own potential. The unseen, the unspoken, the unwritten… all those dreams that remain trapped because we were too scared, too distracted, or too doubtful to give them life.
I wrote and performed this piece to shine a light on that haunting truth. Because the reality is, creativity never really dies. It lingers. It waits. It becomes a shadow that follows us until we either embrace it or let it fade away.
This work is for the dreamers who are scared to start. For the artists who gave up halfway. For anyone who has ever looked back and thought: “What if?
This is just the beginning. My mission with We Make Heads Turn is to create a home for authentic, purpose-driven art. Stories that resonate. Projects that challenge. Work that refuses to be silenced
I hope Ghosts and Dreams speaks to you the way it has spoken to me
And maybe, just maybe, it inspires you to finally breathe life into the ideas you’ve left behind.
